Our Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Taster Day on 13 November 2025 will see you in the heart of laboratories that will see you balance gliders in a wind tunnel and quiz our lecturers on studying at degree level.

Taster Day Location
Check in opens at 9.00am in Anglesea Building, Anglesea Rd, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, PO1 3DJ. Look out for our students in purple T-shirts who'll help direct you.
If you're arriving by coach or minibus, we recommend parking on Museum Road, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú which is just outside of the Ravelin Sports Centre. For more information on checking in and how to get here, take a look at our guide to taster days page.

Check-in from 9.30am at Anglesea Building, Anglesea Rd, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú PO1 3DJ and get ready to learn about studying Electrical and Mechanical degrees at Uni.

Get ready for a session looking at robots and co-bots.

Get hands-on experience of Mechanical Engineering in our Thermodynamics lab where you could one day undertake experiments.
