The Student Wellbeing Helpline gives you access to in‑the‑moment emotional and practical support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Your call will be answered by a trained counsellor or adviser who can talk to about anything, including:
- Feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious
- Problems with sleep
- Relationship or friendship issues
- Family worries
- Bullying or harassment
- Alcohol or drugs
- Bereavement
- Housing concerns
- Money worries
- Legal issues
- And pretty much anything else you can think of
You’ll be listened to, offered guidance and practical next steps. You might be signposted to Student Services for university specific support.
When calling all you need to do is confirm you are a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú student and provide some basic contact details.
The helpline is confidential. Your details will only be shared with the University with your consent or when there is risk of serious harm to you or others.
